“The cottage was pristine, we felt like we were the first guests. It is a spacious, comfortable and stylish property and the owner’s attention to detail is second to none. “Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business.
Food options were limited when we arrived, particularly for our two fussy children, so we did eat elsewhere that night, but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good,……

“Interactions with the owners was easy and we gots lots of information, both before and when we there there. It's a gorgeous, tranquil spot, very central for exploring Hadrian's Wall. The pod was clean with everything you might need, and very comfortable beds. We loved the little outdoor area with fire pit too.
