"Gorgeous flat, quiet, really comfortable, fantastic set up with everything you need in the kitchen, clean, and even a couple of croissants left for breakfast. The bed was comfy, the room was dark and a blackbird very gently woke us up at a reasonable time in the morning. At the end of the road are loads of decent eateries as well as a lovely pub with excellent bar staff. There's on street parking outside, free overnight to 9am, and then £6.50 for 4 hours. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the swimming pool during our visit, which was disappointing. Overall, we had a good experience, and I look forward to staying here again soon."

However, my only real drawback was during the peak of the hot summer weather. When I kindly asked the front desk if they could help replace or provide a more effective fan for the room, they unfortunately didn't manage to help. The fan provided wasn't up to the job of keeping the room cool during the heatwave, which made it a bit difficult to sleep comfortably. Aside from that one hiccup with room temperature control during hot weather, everything else was good. With a bit more attention to guest comfort during warm spells, this would easily be a 5-star stay."
