“Adequate place to stay, the owner was very friendly when we checked in. Small place, but close to Fort Ticonderoga and Star Trek sights. Breakfast not included, but two places close by were very good.”

“Beautiful upon arrival we were greeted by the host. She took plenty of time to show us around the property and explain how the bed-and-breakfast works and all the details of the winery brewery excellent day! Days of day.”

“We get together with our high school friends once, maybe twice a year., since 1979. A city couple and a country couple. Your Lodge was perfect, we had our own rooms, a gas fireplace living room aith a leather couch, another room was well-lighted, free coffee and tea, snacks available. It's an open floor plaln with game tables, puzzles, backgammon, cards, etc. VERY COMFORTABLE. We relaxed in the AM with 'Warren Store Breakfast Bagel Sandwich (don't miss out) - it's a nice slow start. The we went...

“We spent two weeks traveling New England. Focusing on VT, Maine & RI. 5 days were spent at the Mad River Lodge. Although all the places we stayed were all very nice - none of them left us with the feeling of home away from home like MRL did. The main lobby and opportunity to meet other travellers was very enjoyable. The whole place felt peaceful and homey and would absolutely stay there again.”

“The house was perfect. Super clean and tidy. Wood stove was great. WiFi rocked. Location was ideal, close to everything in the Mad River Valley yet quiet. It will be my go to place for my next visit. Host was very responsive to all my questions. ”
