Breathtaking setting and ample, free onsite parking. Outside chairs to sit and admire the sublime lakeshore view with provided breakfast pastry and coffee. Our room (Heathcote, Rm 6) was necessarily small and very cozy with a well-appointed private but across the hall bathroom and good shower. Staff contact was entirely online but all questions answered. Drive into historic Plattsburgh for a variety of great dinner options. Provided breakfast included fresh croissants and muffins. Would very definitely stay again.

The beds were sagging and uncomfortable. There were gnats in the bathroom. The shower wouldn’t drain and had standing water in it. The lights had a flicker to them. We could hear the people in the room next door. Front desk staff seemed overwhelmed and as a first time guest did not present full information- pool/gym hours, bar/breakfast hours, kids activities, etc.

We had a great stay. The rooms and overall space were huge. It's located in a beautiful area and it's close enough to other fun locations to explore. I would recommend staying here and hope to come back someday.

Everyone at Green Mountain were so kind. My sister had a gallbladder attack and they let her stay in the room a bit longer to rest and she didn’t have to go to ER. She is seeing someone this week. This meant so much to us as we had made reservations at the golden dog farm for my dad. I was able to bring him while my sister rested and then we brought her home safely! Forever grateful! First, we stayed in the off season, so I can't comment on the ski season condition of the property. I was more than a little disappointed in the unit we were assigned. The property description does state that each individual unit is decorated by its owner, but our unit in no way resembled the pictures on Expedia. It looked like our unit was last decorated in the 70's. Fully furnished, but no starter supply of essential things like coffee or soap. Luckily, the resort store had some great coffee.
