"What a special place. In the heart of the restaurants, steps to the lake walkway. We stayed in the magical loft and loved its layout and charm. Little details add up to a large win as guests. The owner was soooooo nice and welcoming, treated us like family. The bed was oh so comfortable, the sheets and towels soft. Enjoyed spending evening sitting in courtyard enjoying the sound of birds and city life."

"I stayed in this beautiful house with a friend for 2 weeks in September. It is furnished with great attention to detail. The wonderful terraces, where you can always find a shady spot, invite you to linger and relax. It is very quiet, you can only hear the sound of the sea, birdsong and crickets chirping, plus the smell of pine needles. The house consists of 2 semi-detached houses (Villa I and II). "I loved the location and how big the room was. We had booked a suit with see view, however see view was minimal. The room wasn’t very clean, we found leftover fruit in the fridge from previous guest and kettle was full of scale, it was so dirty that we actually had to go out and buy white vinegar in order to clean it as we were boiling water for our baby. The cot provided initially was broken and the base had to be changed to one that was okay. We had booked half board, food was tasty, however not many choices available and we did end up to eat out more than half of our stay. In general it was just okay but left us disappointed, not even once we were asked if everything was alright or if there was anything else that we would need. I wouldn’t go back there, I would prefer to have spend a bit more money and choose one of the hotels by the beach. "

"The Astoria Hotel is perfectly located directly opposite the port—ideal if you need convenient access. Upon entry, the air-conditioned foyer felt cool and luxurious. The gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spacious, with strong air conditioning and large, well-appointed bathrooms. The hotel is situated right next to several restaurants and cafes, and there’s convenient parking available at the rear. I would definitely stay at the Astoria Hotel again and highly recommend it."
