“We stayed here for one night and it was nice. During the day the place fills with people on day passes so it gets much busier. Pools are nice and food is good. Some trash in the grass but the view is to die for.”

“The cabins were ok very small it was just me so it worked but if it’s more than 1 person good luck. The location is right off the road so the noise level was loud! It was cool to say I stayed at the cabins but overall I wouldn’t book this place again. The bugs were intense so bring bug repellent. Parking was tight they have limited spaces if you leave out most likely your space will be taken. I had to drive into El Tunco to park overnight as there were no spaces left for me to park at night.……

“Casa Maya was such a cute beachfront stay in El Salvador. The location right on the beach was beautiful and made for such a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable overall and we enjoyed our time there.
There were a few things that could definitely be improved the shower bathroom area could’ve been cleaner, and some of the pillows and sheets had stains on them. But aside from that, we still had a good experience and loved the beach vibe of the hotel.”

“What is advertised on the page is not what it looks like in person . It’s rundown and can use an upgrade. Pool was dirty as if they didn’t even attempt to make an effort to clean. Honestly, we didn’t expect much for the price we paid. If you plan to visit surf city and looking for a place to just crash and not expecting much this is it. It is roughly a few minutes walk to all the restaurants, beach and nightlife. The AC & the shower worked well so that’s a plus. ”

“While the property is beautiful and well-located near the caves, several issues impacted our stay.
The biggest concern was that day-pass visitors seemed prioritized over overnight guests. The resort was extremely overcrowded, and the main pool was too full to enjoy. A staff member directed us to a smaller pool marked for “members and guests,” but shortly after, another employee told us we could not stay there.
