I booked this hotel due the location, its situated in Moroni city (if you can call it a city). Location was good. However there is no tv, no safety box, no hair dryer in the room. Internet worked quite well and so did the a/c. The breakfast is very basic and during my stay there were serious problems ...

After visiting Old Friday Mosque, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Moroni. Wander the white-sand beaches and waterfront while you're in the area.
I was here for business, but if you come for leisure, I would suggest visiting the old city around the harbour and then going out into the island to visit the newly created National Parks (Karthala - the volcano - and Coelacanthe - the marine park).
Wouldn't be my number 1 choice for a vacation; but made the best of a work destination that I had to visit. You can negotiate an island tour with one or the other of the guys offering car rental & other services, usually parked on the hotel grounds
