We stayed for two nights. We woke up early for an excursion, but grabbed complimentary breakfast on the way out and it was perfect for a quick bite as we headed out. While the hotel was disappointing, the adjacent ancient city of Caserta Vecchia is one of the most charming we've seen. An ancient tower and remaining castle walls are hauntingly beautiful. With small centuries-old streets and an incredible church.
