The hotel has a convenient free airport shuttle and is in walking distance of the main sights and waterfront in the city so it’s a real win for a short stay… just request a room at the back of the hotel as the front is on a busy road so can be quite noisy.

The city is very clean and quiet after 9:00 pm. All shops close. Smoking is not allowed in many public places. There is no taxi which makes the transition difficult There is not much to see or do in this city. There are no bars or alcoholic drinks

We had a post conference tour to Kuala Belalong Forest Study Centre in Temburong. Brunei where we experienced speed boat and river boat riding. We also climbed the Belalong Forest Canopy Tower. This was an exhilarating experience that I recommend.

One day is plenty unless you are heading further out to see the parks. Stay inside during mid-day as the heat can be unbearable. Make sure to visit the water village..
