“We were lucky enough to stay in Volcanoes Over View during our gorilla trekking visit. We were kindly met by Oliver and his team, and he made the experience 10/10, going above and beyond to make our visit as comfortable as possible. We were kindly upgraded to the tents. He was able to source gaiters and gloves for our treks at short notice. He provided delicious spicy tea in the evening and was patient enough to teach us the game of Igosoro. I was forced to book another hotel last-minute. That alone would have been manageable, but the real issue is that the property provided no way to resolve the situation. They never answered their phone, ignored messages, and even when Expedia tried to reach them directly, there was no response. As a result, I was unable to cancel and lost over……
