Book Adelphi Bed & Breakfast

"Great stay and conveniently located for our trip. "

"Its clean but no elevator - climbed the stairs to my 4th floor rental while carrying suitcase and backpack. Other than that, good value."

"We truly enjoyed our stay here. The four of us in my group were very comfortable. It was close to many places. The staff was very friendly and the online team answered me very quickly."

"We loved the conveience to the metro, bed was comfy, place was clean. I would have liked to had a more well stocked kitchen, more plates, cups, silverware, hot pads, etc. The kitchen worked out well for no longer that we stayed but if more meals were being made youd have to handwash things in between or while prepping so you could have enough to work with. "

"no one should have to sleep on a bed with that kind of a mattress. Place was not comfortable. Furniture was nearly destroyed. you can tell it everything in the Place list is cheap and I want to buy."

"Pros: Check in & check out was easy. The apartment is right on a bus route to the National Mall/Smithsonian Museums, a 15 minute walk to the metro, 10 minute walk to a supermarket, and it's practically nextdoor to a restaurant. The location felt safe. The price was good. The kitchen came equipped with essentials. The on-site laundry wasn't overpriced (pro tip: bring quarters for laundry, it's coin-op.) The host provided linens, towels, and toiletries (and the towels were super soft & fluffy!)...

"We’re seasoned travelers and VRBO customers! Nice apartment in fair-sketchy DC area. Booked 4 nights for Thanksgiving, night #2, awakened at 3:45am with a family standing in apartment! A duplicate reservation with code to building and apartment issued! Called VRBO and owner (Mary Stays-Siem) agrees to $350 refund (two nights) with VRBO recording call. However, one month later we’re still waiting for refund from Mary Stays and/or VRBO! Buyer Beware!"

"Bed advertised as queen but is definitely a full by measurement, pillows were flat, and bedroom curtains blocked no light. This is the prime example of why people stay in their property before renting it out to others. The Wi-Fi also did not work for it entire stay. The property manager replied on day 1 that they were working on it, but we never heard anything further and it never worked. If these points get resolved, I would recommend this property. The location is convenient to the metro and...

"Overall, this flat offered all we were looking for, a great price close to all the sights we were hoping to see. I assumed because it was a 3rd floor unit that there was an elevator, I was wrong. My husband is disabled so my own fault for not asking the question prior to booking. We didn't spend much time going up and down the stairs, and grandkids came in handy to retrieve meal deliveries. The place was exceptionally clean, up-to-date amenities, which included state of the art appliances. ...

"Perfect location and affordable."
