Old town and the beach was walkable, and we had a 5 and 7 year old with us.

"Hotel is lovely, room clean. View excellent. No on site parking as indicated, parking lot is a mile walk on cobblestones. Leave your luggage in the car and just take backpacks. Village is charming. Most restaurants closed Sunday and Monday. "
"Beautiful small boutique hotel located at the Ulia mountain, overlooking San Sebastian. Thoughtfully designed rooms and a great pool. The location is not ideal if you arrive by car. There is no parking on site and only limited street parking further down the hill (20 minute walk). Breakfast was ok but pricey for what it was (25€ per person)."
"Perfect location. About a 10-minute walk west takes you to the old town, and about 10 minutes along the river brings you to the station. The beach is just steps away.
The staff were very warm and welcoming, and the room was clean. It was a comfortable hotel even with a small child."
