"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. "Sao Martinho is a jewel of a town and this place is close walking distance to everything. When the sun’s out, you couldn’t ask for a better place. Great yard with parking. During our stay, we enjoyed the nearby trail to the beach and the extensive walking/running trail along the main road. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked many meals there.
