“A beautiful location and a very comfortable house, great for our family with two little kids. Just a couple hours from the DMV, but a world away for beauty and relaxation in Virginia. We discovered the terrific Shenandoah River State Park just 15 minutes away. Host is great communicator, everything went smoothly.”

If the house is going to be vacant for a while before tenants come in, it might be beneficial to run a few OTC fumigators, but not a big deal...good for building character for our kids!!There was an odor of gas near the front foyer area. We saw it referenced in the guest book, so I'm not sure why that's still an issue. If we had been able to smell it anywhere else, we'd……

Unexpected but delightful perks- tons of different coffee maker options, plush throws and blankets everywhere, modern but still rustic decor. “We loved our stay at the Apple Mountain house. We had a nice relaxing evening with a beautiful view, a lovely fire pit and wonderfully cozy deck. The home was very clean and had a lot of activities for adults and children. All questions were answered immediately when I asking the host. I would recommend four-wheel-drive to get to the location. Definitely would stay here again.”
