We found the hotel to be in a great location. It is located right next to the train, tram and buses. The hotel is two stops from the airport and one stop from Amsterdam Centraal. The employees were very helpful. The hotel is very modern, and the bed was quite comfortable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The staff weren’t very accommodating to foreigners. My sister landed early before her room was available and the hotel wouldn’t allow her to chill in our room for a few hours. And may I add, there were no towels in the room and a/c did not work in the room and there was no remedy as the hotel was over booked. Hotel offered a fan but did not offer to comp cost for the inconvenience. We ultimately left the hotel and stayed in the center “Dam” the remaining of the vacation. Not to mention, the hotel location is very inaccessible for drivers. Really out of the way for anyone trying to explore the heart of Amsterdam.

Dear Verta,Thank you for your review.Our team always does their best to be as accommodating as possible. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to be inside of the room with more than 3 persons. Your sister did not stay inside of the hotel and therefore, this was not an option.You are more than welcome to have guests inside of the lobby.If you miss anything inside of the room, please do not hesitate to come by the reception. We would happily give you extra towels if needed.We have a centrally regulated airconditioning unit inside of the hotel. You can change the temperature between 18 and 24 degrees Celcius. This is not a regular airconditioning unit. Therefore, you will not hear or feel cold air coming into the room. Fans are indeed available if needed.The station around the corner offers amazing connections to the inner city. This will only take you around 5 minutes with the train.We are easily accessible by car and offer underground parking as well.We hope that you have a good vacation and we wish you a great day.Kind regards,Louise - Assistant Front Office Manager

It was wonderful to get off the train and walk 5 minutes to the hotel. It would be nice if they had ice available for their guests, but hotels in Europe just don't seem to. I guess they like drinking lukewarm water there. All in all though, the stay was very good.

Close to transportation hub. Only 20 min by train from the airport. Not a lot of restaurants nearby though. Shower is on the small size and water pressure is extremely low. Taking a hot shower after a long day walking took extremely long.

The hotel is very conveniently located near public transport and the room I got was of a good size but over all the cleaners let us down everyday just changing the bed and towels, didn't clean the room or kitchen as expected.

This hotel was perfect for our trip! It was right next to a tram/bus station that took us to all the attractions we wanted to visit. There were also great restaurants and grocery stores in walking distance. The hotel room was roomy, comfortable, and clean. The kitchenette, gym, laundry room, and snack station was a great bonus! The front desk employees were always kind and helpful with directions. Overall, we had a great stay and look forward to booking again when we come back!

Really well located for many bus and train routes as well as a tram. Most places we wanted to go were less than 30 mins travel. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Room stayed hot at night despite our turning the thermostat down to 17-18 degrees Centigrade. Desk staff were ALL exceedingly pleasant and helpful- truly exceptional! Great coffee for my wife in the morning!

It's a good hotel, not in the city center, but within 5 minutes walk to Station Sloterdijk. 20-30 minutes by bus, metro or tram, 5 minutes by train to the city center. Helpful staff and good cleaning service. Will recommend this hotel and definitely will stay there again. Just a few things to think about: - a day before i checked out, i asked to be given a wake up call in the morning. it didn't happen. - 5 minutes before i was about to leave my room, the hotel had a black out. It was early morning and completely dark outside during hurricane Isha. I was lucky enough not to get into the elevator just to be stuck there, and had everything packed in advance. All in all I had a great time there!

My experience to hotel2stay amsterdam
Adding to the negative experience was my interaction with reception staff, particularly Louise. Unfortunately, her behavior was characterized by rudeness, a lack of helpfulness, and what appeared to be racial bias. Such a negative encounter significantly impacted my perception of the hotel's customer service. Guests should be treated with respect and courtesy, and unfortunately, this was not my experience during interactions with Louise. As a paying customer, I expect the right to utilize hotel utilities and services without encountering such obstacles. My stay at Hotel2stay was marked by a series of disappointments, and I sincerely hope the management addresses these issues to ensure a more positive experience for future guests.

Very convenient location, being next to Sloterdijk station with buses and trams as well as trains. We had a very warm welcome and the room was comfortable and warm with the bonus of a small kitchen. There were facilities that we didn’t use such as the sauna and gym which would add to the appeal for many. With a bit more attention to detail I’d have given a 5, but our TV didn’t work and the cleaning could have been better, notably the shower. But I’d definitely return as we were made very welcome.
