“After a long journey we were so pleased to stay at this B&B, we received a warm welcome, the building is beautiful with lovely views and our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was continental only but very well thought out and the communal areas are a special bonus. Would stay here again without a doubt. Thank you.”

Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. No TV in room but was told I could watch TV downstairs if I wanted to. The shower didn't work properly - either scalding hot or dribbled out cold water. Sink took ages to drain, noisy radiator. “We had a nice stay while doing the Borders Abbeys Way, beds were comfortable, staff were very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of options and we also had dinner in the restaurant. The bar was a meeting place for locals which gave it a nice community atmosphere.”
