“It's a cozy little cabin and it serves our purposes greatly.”

“Our family celebrated Thanksgiving here and it was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, from plates and glassware to pots and pans. The property had plenty of room too! A huge heated sunroom, a sizable great room, and a front porch with the best views of the lake. House came with a fire pit and canoes too and it is right on the beautiful lake. The only small issue we faced was bedrooms are right off the living room, but we were able to move out to the sunroom once……

“The location is close to everything yet very secluded and relaxing. We stayed for graduation weekend at Bloomsburg University and truly enjoyed out stay. The host was very responsive and the upon arriving everything was well prepared and ready for our stay. I would stay at this property again and will recommend it to others staying in the area.”

“Black Diamond Retreat was a wonderful place for a family gathering. Both indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and gave everyone room to spread out and wander. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit every evening and playing corn hole and bocci outside as well. Even though it seemed we were away in the middle of nowhere and very quiet, town was only a short drive away. Some of us did take and enjoy the Yuengling Brewery tour. Landon answered our questions along the way promptly as well. We all……

“The pictures on the listing site do not give it justice. Beautiful views of town below. There were a bunch of us with three generations of family represented. When we were all traveling to the house, my niece arrived first with her father and she said to me on the phone, "... of all the vacation homes we have been to this is the BEST!" “I grew up in Shamokin so I understand most of the homes are historically old and many are row houses. The host does a wonderful job of making the home feel welcoming. Loved the decor and fun layout. The bathroom is large and clean with great water pressure; that's always a bonus. ;)”
