“The beds were very comfortable and equipment excellent. We particularly liked the hot tub with the wonderful view over the lake, the ducks and Swans!”

“This is my second time in one of Orion Holidays properties. I visited with my son and three very young grandchildren. I love the views from the houses overlooking a pond or lake where there is lots of wildlife to observe. I like the green spaces between houses and it was very dog friendly when I brought my dog on the first visit. We had the indoor swimming pool included in our deal but unfortunately it was closed on the first day so we only managed to use it once. We went to the outdoor pool……

“We stayed for a mid week break in June 2025's heatwave. It was lovely to be next to the lake in the heat. There were lakes where we could paddle to cool down and let the dog walk in (on lead). The property was properly dog friendly with throws on the settees expecting dogs to climb up and no area of the house out of bounds for the dog. There are many walks around the estate (which is a nature reserve) and also on the Thames path for the dog as well as the humans. The spa membership was……

“Quiet location, really nice cottage, having stayed in many, many cottages this takes some beating for being equipped, has everything you need. Very comfortable for lounging and sleeping, very good Wi-Fi, communication was excellent, will happily return.”

“We wanted a house that comfortably accommodated all of us and it certainly lived up to expectations. It was cosy and comfortable. It was equipped well with everything we needed for our stay. The position of the house on the lake was perfect for guests who love to fish or boat on the lake. The hot tub was wonderful as well. The swimming pools were clean and well maintained. “Great property - plenty of space, clean, overlooking a lake. Fantastic communication from the hosts...we had a small issue with water - they were on it straight away. Only small gripe was about the estate facilities... restaurant and bar closed in Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm (I think). The portal for booking water sports was not particularly user friendly...we only wanted to book 2 hours but the portal indicated the only option for 2 hours was to start at 2pm - it turned out from staff that we……

“From the moment we stepped through the door , everything was so welcoming . It was a lovely touch that the house had been decorated for christmas . Everything was spotless and there was everything we needed for or stay and more . The only thing we didnt use was the hot tub as it was a bit cold and we were kept busy with other activities”

“We had the most amazing time in this property. The location is stunning and overlooking the lake. The house itself was beautiful, well equipped, with large rooms and bathrooms. It was also kitted out with cute extra touches like beautiful throws and a christmas tree. It was spacious overall, and honestly one of the best places we've stayed at - definitely will plan another trip! The team were also so lovely, easy to contact, and let us have a baby shower at the property which ended up being……

“We had a lovely stay at Waters Edge, very clean and spacious, beautiful surroundings. Only one issue the hot tub was green for most of our stay and had a high smell of chemicals. Normally on a stay with a hot tub someone comes round to check this daily.”

“We had the best week in Cotswolds lakes. Isis lakes is such a good location for getting to different things by walking. We went to different pubs in south Cerney and Cerney wick. There’s also another lake with water sports a short walk away. You can get onto other footpaths for lovely walks easily. Quiet amd peaceful. Playground for the kids and lots of green space.”
