“We had a wonderful stay here, 20 minutes outside of Ullapool. The house was immaculate and full of light, with a nicely-equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed. We could walk right out the door and down the road or up the hill for walks with incredible views. Hated to leave!”

The cottage was outstanding in every way, well stocked with all the necessary items and some for a self catering stay. The cleanliness was top notch and the refurbishment which has taken place compliments the property so well. “A very comfortable property in a superb location ”

“Fantastic situation which suited us and our 2 dogs perfectly. You need to be organised with food due to the nearest shop being over 30 miles away but that being said we found some fantastic eateries on our road trips around the area. The negatives are that the ceiling are very low the stairs awkward and narrow and the condition is basic. Take chairs with you so that you can enjoy the sun trap garden. Luckily we had really good weather (last week in Apri)”

“My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful three weeks at Foinaven, and had a couple of friends from home visit for a week during our stay. We flew in and out of Inverness and rented a car for a reasonable price so that we could take day trips here and there (we really didn’t need it much in Ullapool, except for larger grocery runs). “This flat above the owners home had everything you could need apart from a washing machine for which Alexander offered the use of his. The views from every window were spectacular! We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area and retreating to this comfortable flat at the end of the day.”
