The shared bathrooms and shower areas needed more attention, particularly with keeping stock of toilet paper and the provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I would have also appreciated more info about nearby places to grab a bite to eat because there was nothing available on site. No complaints about this spot. Just areas for improvment. "

"The location of this hostel is exceptional if you’re staying at the beach and couldn’t be better. However, it’s not ideal if you want to be close to the city center, as it’s quite far from everything else. The beds were very comfortable and the place was clean, but the bathrooms do not provide soap or shampoo. The lighting at each bed is very well designed and thoughtful, as it doesn’t disturb other guests."

"Bed was hard like a brick, very uncomfortable, shower had x2 shower heads - seemed to be an old one that was still installed and dripping was very weird, shower also had no hot water in the morning, the hotel is pretty outdated but in a good area, literally a minute to the Queen Victoria markets and a beautiful park across the road. The staff we saw on checkout were so friendly and courteous and the cleaners do a great job of keeping a pretty outdated hotel looking nice and clean. Would stay again for a short stay but wouldn’t recommend a long term stay. "

"Excellent location, short walk to Darling harbour/ Barangaroo and to the city. No swimming pool. Good buffet breakfast facilities, excellent bar on roof top looking out over the harbour and surrounds, but pricey $$. Bed was quite hard, shower had good pressure.
