Lewi Resort gave us an unforgettable memory! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and offered a stunning view of the lake. The food was beyond delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The boat ride across the lake was peaceful and magical, with breathtaking scenery all around. Every detail of our stay was perfectly arranged. The telephone was broken. One of the lights in the bathroom was broken. The flush on the toilet had to be fixed. The room smelt disgusting upon first entering. Insufficient towels in the bathroom. There was no air conditioning, just a small fan that wasn't good eneough. The spa didn't work. The monkeys were disturbing. Overall it was disappointing. The staff were excellent and helpful despite the woeful facilities.

Decent experience, some issues

Pros: -Excellent location on the Awassa Lake -Service was tremendous, everybody was helpful and extremely kind -Free breakfast -Price is affordable Cons: -Wifi is bad and non-existent half the time(important for communication to other countries) -The bathroom smelled bad, we changed rooms but the problem persisted. Seemingly from sewage after flushing, even after a day of non-use -Food looked good but lacked flavor/seasoning -Not accepting credit cards at check-out for incidentals is very inconvenient
