“Das Frühstück war sehr gut. In unserem Bad ließ sich leider die Heizung nicht abstellen, deshalb mussten wir oft das Fenster öffnen und uns hat im Zimmer ein kleiner Tisch mit 2 Stühlen gefehlt. “Good breakfast, though disappointed that since my last visits it is no longer possible to have Manx kipper as a breakfast choice. Decor in corridors and room a little tired. Worst feature is that rooms are only serviced once every 3 days, not everyday, so only once wa during a 5 night stay. Never experienced this in any other hotel.”

“I can't fault my 3-night stay at the Halvard as a solo traveller on business. My room was well maintained, spacious and comfortable with a decent heating/aircon system that allowed me to have the temperature I like.
