“The Lafayette was a beautiful historical hotel that we enjoyed very much. Close to the river and eating places and many other things. Very good atmosphere and everyone we encountered there was kind and helpful.”

“The only reason for my stay is that it was night and I couldn't see the road in the thunderstorm. If there hadn't been a power outage, I would have chosen one of the other hotels next door. After checking in, I noticed this property used to belong to another company. It has not been renovated at all. The carpets are nasty. While the sheets and towels are dingy and some have stains, they did smell clean so at least they arè trying. I hope someone will see this and help the owners bring this...

“The owners are very friendly and respectful. We love the area and its nice and peaceful. We will definitely be back every year. I wish the pond had an areator but its still a nice pond to fish. I would definitely recommend this place ”

“We adored the rolling hills and vast landscapes of SE Ohio, all the more thanks to the VRBO we stayed in. Chad was an excellent host, and any questions we had were answered promptly. We didn't get a chance to explore the grounds surrounding our cabin due to time but if we stay again we will! PLUS the chickens that live on the land are so cute :)”

“The house was absolutely beautiful. It had a gorgeous view off the balcony. There was deer out in the yard which was really cool ! My family said next time we come back we will definitely stay here if it is available!! ”
