"We had a great time at this property. The house was clean, spacious, well organized and the lake was beautiful. I am a new wheelchair user and this was my first vacation in two years so I was initially disappointed that there was a step down from the house to the large deck. My brother-in-law ended up driving back home to pick up a portable ramp that I use when I visit his house. That worked really well so if you are a wheelchair use be advised to bring or rent a ramp ahead of time if you want...

"The hotel was clean, our room had fresh sheets, clean towels, soap, body wash, iron.. everything needed. Breakfast was included. My kids enjoyed the pool. I also washed my dirty clothes. I liked that its surrounded by stores, restaurants and a gas station. Its also right off the highway."

"The room was clean. I couldn’t get the window to lock; the man at the front desk fixed it. The room had a microwave, mini fridge, blow dryer, Kleenex. No pool. I also didn’t see a snack machine of any kind. They provide a good area to walk the dog. The motel was very close to the highway I was traveling on. I wish they provided a continental breakfast. I wish they provided a channel guide for the tv. Like most Motel 6’s, you can easily tell that it’s an older building that could use a makeover (desperately!) but management does the best with what they have. I try to find this Motel chain while I am traveling because their price is reasonable and they don’t charge extra for my dog. I felt safe while staying there; I was traveling alone."

"The staff was not always at the front desk, but always available when I called them with the phone on the desk. The breakfast was not a robust as some hotels, but it was clean, and what was provided was well stocked and tasty. The pool areas was kept clean and is very inviting. The room was clean, and the bed and pillows provided a comfortable nights sleep. I was on the second floor and it was quiet all night. This was probably the darkest room I have stayed in for some time. The bathroom was bright, but the entryway and bedroom had no overhead light, leaving only two "desk" style laps for the entire room. The Fridge in the room was useful, but I rarely find that these are cold enough for very long. The shower had good pressure, but the shower curtain was quite old and torn along most of the rings that hold it to the bar. The bathroom fan did not run when you turned on the one light switch in the bathroom, causing the bathroom and mirror to steam up easily. The iron and ironing board worked well, and I was glad to have them. The hotel looks older, and the carpet showed significant wear. My family enjoyed the mints and hot cocoa at check-in, and breakfast."
