Find hotels in Bigbury from $126

The best time to go to Bigbury is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is warmest and the days are longest.

This period is ideal for families looking to enjoy the extensive sandy beaches and engage in water sports. Bigbury-on-Sea Beach, with its wide expanse of sand at low tide, is superb for building sandcastles and exploring rock pools. The causeway to Burgh Island is also most accessible during these months, offering a unique adventure for all ages to explore the island's tidal features and historical connections.

Couples often find the shoulder seasons of May and September appealing. The weather is still pleasant for coastal walks and enjoying the scenery, but the crowds are smaller, allowing for a more tranquil experience.
