“We enjoyed the house. It was very clean and the location by the river was very nice. The only thing that gave us a big surprise was that the bedrooms downstairs are not connected via an indoor staircase so those who stayed downstairs had to go outside each time they wanted to go up and down to their rooms. I would’ve appreciated knowing this before we rented the house. Thankfully, this time we were all adults so it wasn’t a big deal except when it rained but if I had had children with me it……

“The Mountain View’s on the property are the best around. Sunsets right in front of the deck and you see a sunset almost every night. The river down below would be visible in the winter. Otherwise the view is beautiful with the woods and distant mountain ranges. There is a gravel road just less than a mile up that leads down to the river if you decide you want to hike to the river.”

“This was our second time staying at calico cabin and couldn't have asked for anything more. Being minutes away from downtown Blue ridge, Georgia gives you access two local attractions. BR scenic railway, Bigfoot excursion, Appalachian trails horseback, Blue ridge off-road adventures to name a few. In addition to the numerous dining experiences.
