This was an awesome place for a mountain getaway. The cabin was very clean and everything worked properly. The location was great - you really feel out in the woods, but you are still close to a really cool little store and a fantastic restaurant. We came up for motorcycling and the area does not disappoint. There is some of the best riding in the country right from this area. The road outside the cabin is a great road but it is very quiet in the cabin. Great for sleeping! There are tons of things to do in the area no matter what you like to do. All in all the cabin was fantastic and we had a great time. We would definitely stay here again.

Great cabin. Centrally located to lots of hiking trails and falls! Close to downtown Blue ridge! Easy access with a paved driveway. The Host Timothy was very quick to respond to any questions. The kitchen was well equipped if you like to prepare your own meals. Overall a lovely place to stay for the price!

My run away from home spot!

This was a wonderful place for my spouse and I to run away to for a few days. The cabin itself was charming. The location was great as it is only 10-15 minutes at the most from downtown Blue Ridge. This is a place that I plan on keeping as my go-to place in Blue Ridge.

We enjoyed our stay at this adorable cabin right across from the beautiful river. Itā€™s convenient to the orchard, grocery store, and restaurants and shops in the area. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay.

It was a good stay. The wife and me just wanted to get away for awhile. A couple things that I would advise you on is that along the other edge of the driveway there is a bad drop off for a long way. It is caused by rain off but you might look into getting some bigger rock so the water will not waste it away. Next there is patch of concrete that is right in the way of a turn around in the driveway. I did not bother it but it was in the way of getting out of the driveway. Cabin was great. Fire place was not working for some reason. It had stickers on it saying not to use, so we didn't. Clean refreshing and a nice get away place to come. Thanks

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It was clean and had what we needed for the week. We were able to bring our dog. We enjoyed hiking, biking, shopping and the restaurants and breweries in Blue Ridge. Blue Ridge is very dog friendly; a great place to vacation with your pup!

2024 Fall Getaway

We came to see the leaves and loved shopping in Blue Ridge, eating at Trailer Drive In, the Expedition! Big Foot museum, and campfires in the evening. Timothy was quick to respond with questions and recommendations for the area. The house was comfortable, and we slept in every day!! Thank you Timothy for your hospitality.

The cabin is on a paved 2 lane road, 7 miles from stores. It is very private You can see the river thru the forest across the street and you can hear the river while enjoying the nature while sitting on the porch swing.We had a little problem checking in and Timothy, our host , immediately responded and took care of the situation immediately. The king size bed is the most comfortable bed, the cabin has 3 roku tvsThe living room has a gas fireplace which warmed up the cabin on the cool mornings.The kitchen has good appliances although I didn't cook I was on vacation from work!We spent 14 days at the cabin , it is very peaceful and Timothy is a great hostMy husband and I recommend this aska road cabin. The cabin was immaculate and had everything I needed. Tim answered all messages promptly and without fail. The only negative part of the whole experience is the mattress on the large bed. Itā€™s hard as a rock I highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the area

We, myself and great niece, had a great trip, the cabin was just as described and very convenient to everything. Hiking, shopping, train excursion and horseback riding!! All surpurb. We could have stayed many days and would have had plenty to do. People of all ages will enjoy this area. Tim, our host, was in contact to meet any concerns we had and to advise us of any unforseen events, like a short power outage. Which we weren't there when it was out! Again, great trip. GC

Great little get away

Just retired and wanted to get away for short time. Looked around and found Blue Ridge. The cabin was nice and area really beautiful. We enjoyed shopping downtown and ate at several restaurants. Enjoyed the self guided driving tour around the area. Enjoyed Mercier Orchard and Market and Bakery, sampled some baked goods. The apple cider donuts, was so good. Had dinner at The Toosa Riverside Restaurant also. The trout was really special. The cabin was convenient to all those things. Easy to get around the area. Watched the tubing down the river across from the cabin one day. We did not hike but looked like there some good trails close by.
