Completely remodeled and newly furnished. Quiet neighborhood up the hill from downtown. 3 bed/1 bath house is just a 5-7 minute walk to central Boquete and "restaurant row". Sweeping view of boquete valley. Granite countertops custom stone tile in bath, stainless steel fridge. The home has two queen sized beds in the first two bedrooms. 3rd bedroom has bunk bed with full size bed below and twin size bed on top bunk. Two flat screen TV's (living and master) with cable and high speed internet. Master suite has a "smart" TV. Full size washer / dryer in separate laundry room. Front and rear patios. 450 gallon back up water tank - just in case city water goes out. Several acres of land used for growing vegetables. Don't miss out on all the activities in town- save on car rental and enjoy this centrally located home for your vacation. Within a very short walking distance: Boquete Brewing Company, Art Cafe', Panamonte' Inn, Town Square and other amenities.

We also want to let you know that Panama is a developing country undergoing a transformation. Boquete is beautiful town, but also a rural community. There are dogs that bark and roosters do crow in the morning. This occurs everywhere in Boquete. We have included a sound dampening machine and new ear plugs if needed. :-).

Nice Home in Great Location
The home was nice and had everything we needed. It is up a steep hill with amazing views of the area. It is conveniently located close to the main road at the bottom of the hill. The property manager, Donn, was very communicative before our arrival, met us upon our arrival at a nearby restaurant, and we followed him to the home. He showed us around the home and provided advice about the area. When we had an issue with the hot water in the shower, he promptly returned my text and sent a handyman over. We have no complaints (except for the roosters that start crowing at 4:00 am and crow all day, hahaha) and would happily rent this home again when we inevitably return (we fell in love with Boquete and the surrounding area).

NO VIEW "THE VIEW HOUSE"
THE PICTURES OF THE VIEW FROM THE HOUSE ARE NOT ACCURATE. THE WINDOWS ARE BLOCKED WITH BUSHES THAT HAVE NOT BEEN TRIMED IN AT LEAST 5 YEARS. I WISH I COULD UPLOAD SOME PICURES. THE GAS STOVE ONLY HAS MED-HI AND HI. THE OVEN WORKS OK BUT KEEP AN EYE ON IT. VERY NOISY , CHICKENS AND ROOSTERS... O.K. BUT DOGS BARKING INSESANTLY DAY AND NIGHT, LAUD NEIGHBORS, CHURCH BELLS..JUST NOT A PEACEFULL STAY. HOT WATER AND WATER PRESSURE ARE AN ISSUE UP THERE THATS JUST THE WAY IT IS IN THE MOUNTAINS. FYI, IT IS A STEEP CLIMB TO THE HOUSE, 30% INCLINE ABOUT 500 FEET. YOU CAN SEE BUTTERFLIES, BIRDS AND THE CHICKENS THAT COME VISIT THE BACKYARD. KITCHEN IS WELL STOCKED, GOOD SET OF COOKWARE.

Great little casa on the hill
Very adequate and quant little place that was very suitable for our 10 day stay. Donn was a great manager, making sure we knew where everything is and was in constant contact, coming by several times to assist. He quickly addressed any issue we had including replacement of all the pots and pans, and others things as well. We walked the whole town/area and learned to enjoy the 5 minute walk up the hill. The roosters and dogs take a little to get use to, but it is part of the charm of the location, and the white noise generator they provide helps. We'd consider staying there again is we need that much room. It did seem a little pricey but I didn't do a lot of comparison.

Best place we stayed in Panama
Our family traveled through Panama for a month with many stops and this was our favorite, most comfortable accommodation. It was clean and roomy with plenty of nice small things added to make our stay easy. The property manager made sure we had everything we needed and checked in several times to answer questions. He provided a detailed orientation to Boquete that helped us make the most of our time there. Highly recommend.

Very Comfortable and Relaxing
We stayed here a month and found it super enjoyable. The house was clean and very well furnished – and the beds were comfortable. For a few days we had both our adult daughters staying with us and it got a little crowded but for the two of us it was great. The washer/dryer was wonderful too! An additional plus was the 400 gallon water tank in the back yard. During the Coffee & Flower Festival (Yes, it gets very noisy at night) Boquete’s water supply is diverted to the festival. With the water storage tank and a little conservation we didn’t suffer any water shortage. It was so nice so be able to sit on the patio with coffee or a glass of wine and look out over the mountains. The rainbows from the patio were spectacular! The caretakers Donn and Andria were wonderful and made our stay so easy. An easy walk into town and to the market and numerous restaurants but it was a very steep walk uphill on the way back.

Perfect getaway
We really enjoyed our stay in Boquete. There are many things to see and do. We did one full day tour of Volcan Baru, local archeological site, animal rescue and a 1/2 day tour of a local coffee farm; both well worth the time and money. Donn and Andrea were excellent hosts, arranging transportation to and from David, provided all local information regarding restaurants, getting around and checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed. Cottage was clean and the location, within walking distance of town, was perfect. I would highly recommend!

Nice Comfortable House

Great location for enjoying Boquete
We really enjoyed our stay in Boquete - there is so much to do and this was a great base, providing excellent value for the price. The cottage was clean on our arrival and had everything we needed for vacation level cooking etc. It is compact, but there was plenty of space for our family to hang out in the evenings. The wifi was reliable (important for our daughter!). The owner's reps were communicative and helpful - arrival and departure were easy, and they made suggestions for dining and activities. The neighbourhood is a little noisy with dogs and roosters at night, but it's a rural area - you can't really get away from that, and there are 'white noise' machines in two of the bedrooms, and a stash of earplugs is provided if you need them.

We recently stayed here for 3 weeks. The Pros- The house is fairly well equipped with comfortable beds and good WiFi. Great views across Boquete to the mountains. Decent hot water supply and washer/dryer were useful. The Cons - the view comes at a price, there is a steep hill to walk up from town which discourages more than 1 climb in a day (we could have used a cheap taxi and did that once). The house is in a narrow valley with several homes around that all have 1 or more dogs that roam the neighbourhood. It can be peaceful at times but when all the dogs start up a barking chorus usually at night it gets pretty annoying. The white noise machine mutes it to some extent and we used it every night. Boquete is an interesting place to visit with its mountain scenery and some challenging walking trails nearby.

We stayed at this property for 5 nights. Donn and Andrea were great hosts. They met us and explained everything in the house, and gave us all kinds of great info about Boquete and the surrounding area. They arranged for a pick up at the airport with Fernando, who also was great and we used him several times for transportation. Donn and Andrea checked on us several times during our stay to see if we needed anything. The house is in a great location within walking distance into town, well equipped and has everything you would need. We were there during the coffee and flower festival. If you come during this time you can expect noise from the festival. We throughly enjoyed our stay in Boquete. Lovely home close to town
We were actually not able to visit this trip, but did get to meet the care keepers and see the house. All was great and friendly and the house would be perfect next time, if our son can join us. Pretty views and nice to be a bit above all the road construction in town. Brett was a gracias owner and helped us with a change in plans, which was much appreciated. We will be back, we loved Boquette!

This is a very quaint property that has the potential to be a great property. The size is perfect for a family of 6. The only problems with the property is the run down furniture in the living area and the worn out bed sheets and covers. The floor was dirty. The property managers were great hosts and full of information on the area.

Lovely Home with Amazing View
We really enjoyed our stay in Boquete. It was quite obvious that the owner Brett and the property managers Donn and Andrea take pride in the home, as it was very clean, comfortable, and well-kept. The house has a stunning view and a gentle breeze passing through, keeping a perfect temperature. The kitchen was not the typical hodgepodge of dishes and utensils, but actually held practical items and matching sets of dishes. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom rivaled a bathroom in the US. The washer and dryer were a godsend since we were determined to hike, even in the rain. The welcome basket was a very pleasant surprise, as were the other touches like ample/fluffy towels, nightlights, bottle opener, cold medicine, bottled water, sealed/odor preventing trashcans, an umbrella. . . Yes, we were in a third world country, but these additions gave us a little touch of home. Donn and Andrea were extremely knowledgeable about the home and the area and provided so much helpful information. They were very prompt in responding to any questions we had and obviously delight in being helpful. We would certainly stay here again. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Truly charming house and fantastic location with attentive owner and caretakers
While in Panama City, Panama visiting family in August, we decided to make a quick trip to Boquete, a small wonderful town in Chiriqui Province where I used to vacation with my family during summer breaks growing up in Panama. Brett's listing immediately caught our attention! The house is in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the center of town, with easy access to restaurants, pharmacy, groceries and multiple activities. Our stay could not have been more perfect! The caretakers, Don and Andrea, were easily accessible via phone, email and WhatsApp. When we arrived at the house it was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we needed, including a welcoming basket with fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. We traveled with two teenagers; this house was the perfect size for a group/family of 4-5 people, never feeling crowded and providing sufficient space for all, with comfortable bedrooms, views of the mountains, a nice patio and a beautiful yard. A note to light sleepers: Boquete has always been an agricultural town with people connected to the coffee plantations, families escaping the heat from David on weekends, and regular folks going about their normal routine. It is a REAL village where you may hear roosters early in the morning, dogs barking at night, and children chatting on their way to or from school. The host thoughtfully added a noise canceling machine to the master bedroom, but for us closing the windows worked just fine one particular night, and it did not detract from the wonderful experiences we had during our stay. I strongly recommend Brett's house in Boquete and would not hesitate to book a stay in the future.

Nice and Relaxing Stay
We really enjoyed our stay here. The scenery was beautiful and the house was very clean and comfortable. When we first arrived I was a little worried about the walk to the town and shopping area but we decided to give it a try and it really wasn't as far as it first seemed. The trip back to the house is a little harder because it's mainly up-hill but it is still very doable. However they provide you with the numbers of taxi drivers that are very nice and fair price. The restaurants were all very good. We really liked eating breakfast and lunches at the Sugar and Spice cafe. I would recommend this property.
