At the foot of the Roquefixade castle, the accommodation is located in an old 17th century fortified house, an independent part of which is converted into comfortable accommodation.
It can accommodate 6 people.
Very nice view from the living room and the bedrooms on the Ariège Pyrenees, on the castle of Montségur to the south and on the rocky bar of the castle of Roquefixade to the west.

Amazing everything!

The property was absolutely pristine. Beautiful views, fabulous location. Owners very helpful. Location was just amazing walks right on the doorstep. The only thing I would have liked would be comfy seating for relaxation in the evenings. Other than that everything was just right.

Magical stay at Roquefixade

The photos dont do justice to what a beautiful village Roquefixade is - absolutely. gorgeous setting up in the mountains with stunning view. Luce and Georges were fantastic hosts. The property was spotless, and kitted out with everything you could need. There is lovely private garden - sitting out there in the morning with a coffee and croissant you can bathe in the bird song and great views. Its a very peaceful setting, but with loads to do in the local area. We visited prehistoric caves, medieval castles, lovely lakes with beaches for swimming and did some great hikes in the Pyrenees that are easy with pre-teen kids. The nearest town with amenities is only a 10 min drive. Absolutely loved it and hope to return! Merci!

Une semaine en Ariège. Le choix de Roquefixade est excellent car à proximité de nombreux sites à découvrir. Le logement est parfait : très bien équipé, décoré avec beaucoup de gout par des hôtes absoluments charmants.

Nous avons apprécié le calme de la maison et du village. L'accueil a été très sympa. L'équipement intérieur est top, tout est neuf. Le village est bien situé pour visiter les environs. C'est aussi le point de départ de plusieurs parcours de randonnées.

La maison était agréable et nous avons été bien accueillis, heureusement car la pluie était de la partie, nous avons pu quand même sortir avec les enfants, monter au château visiter la rivière souterraine, profiter des éclaircis pour nous balader.

Séjour à Roquefixade

Séjour de 3 nuits dans un gîte très bien équipé, bien situé pour effectuer des ballades sans prendre la voiture et une très belle vue sur la vallée et les montagnes, enfin tous les ingrédients pour passer un excellent séjour en famille. Magnifique maison, hôtes adorables

Merci à nos hôtes très chaleureux, accueillants, dynamiques et discrets.. Gîte magnifique tout confort, très bien équipé et décoré avec goût. Vue sur les Pyrénées et Montsegur. Calme et nature, village de Roquefixade très agréable, départ de nombreuses randonnées. Petit verger en face du gîte très apprécié ! En bref, nous recommandons vivement cet endroit !

Nous garderons un merveilleux souvenir de Roquefixade et du gîte; et spécialement au moment d'ouvrir les volets sur cette belle vallée et le pog de Montségur. Merci pour les équipements et les produits laissés sur place. La bibliothèque est fournie question livres sur l'Ariège. Les randonnées autour du gîte sont très agréables. Nous reviendrons !

Excellent gîte. On recommande.+++ Idéalement placé pour du tourisme . 12 randonnées autour du village de roquefixade très belles et balisées. Gîte très propre confort ++++ , belle décoration. On s'y sent comme chez nous. Un équipement et les premiers produits de nécessité très pratique et un vrai plus . Les hôtes sont très accueillants et chaleureux. Très disponible et très agréable.
