“Great hotel, although the area is not safe to walk. Use either Uber or tour pick up. ”

“Spacious, recently renovated and tidy room. Caring and nice staff were always helpful. As a solo woman traveler, I definitely felt the sense of security as the driver team supports me with pick up and drop off services. Thank you!”

“We had to book another apartment as the host told us that they did not have a key to the apartment that we booked. We could not find the owner anywhere, the phone was going to voicemail, my messages were going through on WhatsApp but they were not responding. We had to pay more money to book another place because the one we booked, no one could assist us and our safety was also compromised as it was getting late. We need a voucher refund ASAP!”

“The room was in good condition. The staff was very helpful and kind. But the noise from the bar was just too much, especially the first night. We had just traveled for 20+ hours. We didn’t get any sleep that first night. It didn’t end till after three in the morning. The next night it went on for a while. It wasn’t as loud, but we were unable to sleep. The third night was better still lots of noise from downstairs people screaming, and a lot of Bass coming through. The food was very good as……

“The breakfast was phenomenal, fresh and delicious! ”

“First of all, the location isn't great: while Melville may not be dangerous, I did not feel very safe there. The flimsy door to my room did not help. There was a safe in my room but it was locked, and when I asked if I could use it I was told that it was not possible. The room itself wasn't very clean and there was not a nice odor to it. Breakfast wasn't very great and there were very few options. Staff was not very helpful, difficult at times to communicate with in English, and check in was……

“Tout était parfait il y avait pleins de petites attentions qui ont rendu le séjour extraordinairement. Exemple: des petits mots sur l’histoire de Mandela tous les jours des petits gâteau tous les jours services et personnels irréprochable allant de l’accueil au gardien en passant par le service de restaurant et cocktail. Un vrai hôtel 5 étoiles. De plus, dormir dans l’ancienne maison de Mandela a rendu le moment encore plus unique. Merci pour tout je le recommande fortement. ”
