Your very own self contained country retreat awaits you. With an enclosed verandah, and beautiful 180 degree country views, you can kick back in comfort and enjoy the beauty of the Scenic Rim. An old barn has been partially converted to form 'The Stables' cabin here at Yalbaroo. Paddle in the clear waters of our bubbling creek, meet our miniature horses and alpacas, picnic under our gorgeous trees or just sit and unwind and breath in the country air.

Excellent. The converted barn was comfortable and well stocked with everything you could think of. The gazebo area with the fire pit was great for goofing and toasting marshmallows. You even get to feed the chooks. We will be back.

Great choice
This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a peaceful time in the country. This had everything we wanted — comfortable bed, good shower, a fully equipped outdoor, mosquito proof, kitchen and dining room. Teena was lovely and very welcoming. My husband and I very highly recommend this place.

Gorgeous all round.
Our time here went by too fast! The barn is well appointed, nothing amiss, even down to dog bowls, leads and toys for pup! The outdoor kitchen was where we spent most of our time when indoors, otherwise going for walks to the nearby creek and exploring the wide open spaces of the property filled us with joy. Feeding the animals was delightful! My puppy was welcome on the property and fully enjoyed the space,. Check in and check out were easy and no hassle! Easy communication with Teena and once there, everyone was lovely and welcoming! Yalbaroo truly is remarkable. Hoping to be able to come visit this charming property again one day soon.

Loved our little romantic get away, magical that we could bring our little foxy who loved the whole experience. Feeding the animals was an added bonus. A little secluded slice of heaven not far from Brisbane.

Yalbaroo is a converted horse stable accommodation for two with comfortable quality furnishings and a full compliment of all the facilities you could desire. It's a self-sufficient retreat perched in a beautiful valley surrounded by wildlife and foothills with your own personal firepit and BBQ. Hosts are available but leave you in peace as if you own the place!

We just loved this gorgeous farmhouse, so much so that we booked a third night. Lots of privacy and every amenity imaginable was included. We just brought food for our puppy and us. Highly recommended

Property was lovely and the hosts were great. Great farm stay experience. Dogs had a great time swimming in the river. Restful and refreshed though through no fault of their own are at the mercy of noisy neighbours. Which depending on how full their camp site is can cause problems.

Tranquil Country Stay Yalbaroo Scenic Rim Retreat
We really enjoyed our time along with our little dog. Such a quiet tranquil setting to recharge. Beautiful miniture horses, cows and alpacas (just keep your eye on Whitney). Sorry we were too early for the birth of the baby alpaca. Lovely accommodation.Teena and her family were very hospitable. Our favourite country holiday todate Will definitely come again. Highly recommended.

A wonderful getaway for us and our pup. Extra thoughtful touches galore!
What a gem of a place. It's just as it looks in the pictures - lovely clean bathroom, great kitchenette set-up, coffee machine, comfortable bed, private yard... But the real highlight is all the special little touches that they have put into it. Marshmallows, hot chocolate, toys for our pup, fluffy blankets everywhere, a bottle of bubbly in the fridge... I don't know how they managed the gorgeous rainbow that appeared over the place as we sat in front of the fire pit, but that was impressive. ;) I can't recommend the place enough.
