First off, there is nothing we didn't like about Sunset at the Palms! As soon as we got there, we were welcomed with a drink and given a short tour. When we got to our room, there was a personal note from the person who got our room ready. Mini fridge stocked with water and Red Stripes, robes and slippers, perfectly working a/c and ceiling fan and the room was immaculate. We loved having the balcony to sit on at the beginning/end of our days, also. Overall, the set up of Sunset was the biggest plus for us. They were definitely booked up, but guests weren't crawling all over each other. There is enough room at the pool, dining areas, beach, etc. for everyone to enjoy the resort in their own space if they want to. All of the staff, no matter where we were, were very friendly and accommodating. The cambio and gift shop are very convenient. We had our own car, so we could explore more on our own (recommend it if you can brave the roads), but did utilize the resort's services to book a catamaran tour to Rick's Cafe. All of the food was so good! Omelets at breakfast were a clear favorite. There were always lots of choices. Non meat/vegetarian (vegan too!) options seemed to be at every buffet meal. We had a few reservations in their restaurant room that were also amazing. Romantic dinners are always a good idea. The jerk chicken linguini is 🔥
Basically, Sunset at the Palms is worth your money. It's a great place, full of great people and you'll have a great stay. We'll be back!
