“Such a serene, inviting cottage! We enjoyed our peaceful weekend at the mint cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too! We will return soon.”

“Upon arrival there was a couch sitting on the walkway to the front door with a "Free" sign on it. There was no manual explaining: 1) The use of portable heaters or baseboard heaters2) Things to do upon entering or leaving2) Local attractions4) Emergency contact informationDid find a single sheet under the silverware tray in a drawer the next morning. It did contain a few of the above items.Dirty pancake turners, still had dried egg on them. We had to buy several pans and skillets because there……

“The condo was extremely dirty with dry wall all over the floor and counters that got all over all our clothes. Had musty smell. Owner did not disclose that downstairs was also a VRBO and we thought it was a spa and heard people yelling and arguing at 2am. Overall negative experience would not recommend. Oh also AC barely worked was very hot ”

“Place is just as described. Really cute. Large living room dining room and bedroom. Cute old fashioned kitchen. All tastefully decorated and well stocked. Starter coffee. A little strange configuration with bathroom as door to it from bedroom and dining area, but it really was not a problem for a couple. Right next to train but only had horn once in early eve and once in morning. Really easy walk to everywhere. Nice pub across street, and counter style diner just down street. Really……

“excellent cleanliness, too much fragrance on sheets and bedding( we have allergies and it messed with them). Enjoyed the view off of the back but we would have liked another blind off of the back in the King room to make the room darker in the morning. ”
