Car Rental Chenghai District

When you've ticked off the terrific places in Chenghai District, there's plenty more to explore in the surrounding area. Pick up the keys to a rental car, throw your luggage in the trunk and get on the road. Here are some road trips we know you'll enjoy:

• You'll find Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster and lots more interesting sights in Zhangzhou. From Chenghai District, it's 75 miles away.
• Your next stop? Consider Meizhou, which is around 65 miles away. Meixian People's Square is one local highlight you won't want to miss.
• Get into the outdoors and take in the serenity at Dameisha Beach. You'll find it around 170 miles from Chenghai District.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in China, then it's likely you'll need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. It's also important to note that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your current license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your license and passport. A few other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be 25 or over in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
