Car Rental España

Once you've checked out all of the fabulous attractions in España, there's plenty more to explore in the surrounding region. Pick up the keys to a rental car, throw your bags in the trunk and get going. We've pulled together some drives we think you'll enjoy:

• Head off to Kalibo for an excellent sightseeing adventure. About 50 miles from España, it's home to tons of amazing attractions, including Kalibo Cathedral.
• Your next pit stop? Make it Iloilo, which is around 120 miles away. SM City Iloilo is one local hot spot you won't want to miss.
• Get out into nature and take in the serenity at Alona Beach. It's 210 miles from España.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Philippines, then you may need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be allowed to rent a car. You should also be aware that if an IDP is required, it won't be valid on its own. You'll need to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. A few other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be 25 or over in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the fine print before sliding behind the wheel. You typically can't cross country borders, drive on ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with your rental car.
