Car Rental Hongta District

Hongta District offers adventures galore, but don't limit yourself to only one place. Organize a set of wheels and head off to discover what else awaits in the surrounding region. Here are some places to consider:

• Kunming is about 40 miles from Hongta District. Well-known tourist spots like Green Lake Park should be high on your list here.
• Approximately 120 miles away, Wenshan is also popular with wanderers. Be sure to take in Puzhehei while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love staying a while in this city.
• Get out into nature and inhale the fresh air at Xishuangbanna Primitive Forest Park. You'll find it approximately 190 miles from Hongta District.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in China, then you may need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car. You should also note that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll be asked to show your current license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be 25 or over in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
