When you've checked out all of the great attractions in Playa La Redonda, there's a lot more to explore in the surrounding region. Pick up the keys to a rental car, stow your bags in the trunk and get on the road. We've pulled together some drives we know you'll love:

• Head off to Managua for an excellent sightseeing adventure. Approximately 55 miles from Playa La Redonda, it's home to tons of cool attractions, including Galerias Santo Domingo Shopping Center.
• Your next stop? Make it Granada, which is around 40 miles away. Granada Cathedral is one local hot spot you shouldn't miss.
• Make tracks to Santa Maria Beach to discover some local nature. Pack a picnic to enjoy or just relax in the fresh air. From Playa La Redonda, it's 130 miles away.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Nicaragua, then you'll likely need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country in order to rent a car. It's also important to note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your current license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some added requirements for international car rentals are:
