Car Rental The Range

The Range has plenty to keep you on the move, but don't restrict yourself to just one place. Rent some wheels and hit the road to discover what else awaits in the wider area. Here are some ideas:

• Head to Gladstone for a fantastic sightseeing experience. About 55 miles from The Range, it has many cool attractions, including Gladstone Marina.
• Your next pit stop? Make it Biloela, which is around 70 miles away. Queensland Heritage Park is one local hot spot you shouldn't miss.
• Make tracks to Carnarvon National Park for a day out in nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just sit and unwind. From The Range, it's about 190 miles away.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Australia, then you might need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be able to rent a car. It's also important to note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some additional requirements to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or over in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
