Car Rental The Range

When you've covered all the interesting attractions in The Range, there's more to see in the region. Pick up the keys to a rental car, toss your bags in the trunk and get out on the open road. We've come up with some road trips we think you'll love:

• You'll find Chateau Tanunda and lots more intriguing attractions in Tanunda. From The Range, it's around 55 miles away.
• Your next pit stop? Consider Tailem Bend, which is around 45 miles away. Bend Motorsport Park is one local draw card you really shouldn't miss.
• Get out into the outdoors and take in the serenity at Blue Lake Reserve. You'll find it around 220 miles from The Range.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Australia, then it's likely you'll need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be able to rent a car. You should also be aware that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll be asked to show your current license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some additional requirements to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the fine print before sliding behind the wheel. Typically, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or on off-road areas with your rental car.
