Car Rental The Spectacles

After you've ticked off the fabulous places in The Spectacles, there's loads more to see in the surrounding area. Pick up the keys to a rental car, toss your luggage in the trunk and get out on the open road. These are some drives you're sure to love:

• Make your way to Bunbury for an excellent sightseeing adventure. Approximately 75 miles from The Spectacles, it's home to lots of amazing attractions, including Bunbury Lighthouse.
• Why not see the best of Busselton too? Top tourist attractions in this vibrant city include Busselton Jetty. Busselton is roughly 100 miles from The Spectacles.
• Get out into nature and breathe in some fresh air at Wave Rock. You'll find it about 180 miles from The Spectacles.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Australia, then you might need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. You should also note that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll have to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to what kinds of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the rules and regulations before you drive off the lot. Typically, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or off road with your rental car.
