"What a terrific spot! The bar was comfy, and cosy; the room clean, and tastefully decorated with a comfy bed, and wonderful view of the viaduct and Whernside. And, the fish & chips - exceptional! For us, the staff made our stay, Will, Courtney, Angela, & Val, couldn't do enough for us, despite a very busy bank holiday weekend. Thank you, we had a great evening and a cracking breakfast to boot."

"Met expectations. Host provided selections teas coffee, milk and bread.
The flat was clean and tidy.
The flat was in a good location, opposite a train station.
Only annoyance was the standing water in shower which didn’t drain well.
Definitely would stay again."

"Lovely homely hotel/pub. Staff very friendly and the food was excellent. Great location for a stop on the way to Scotland as not far off of the motorway. Beautiful area."
