“Overall it was a good experience and the views were amazing. The property was dated and in need of repair and updates. Additionally, the owner expectations seemed a little excessive and more about the things they’ve been annoyed with in the past vs their desire to give an incredible experience for guests. Some small updates could go a long ways - soft colored paint in the main floor bedroom, new countertops and sink in the kitchen, get rid of the red chair that looks old and worn, ensure there……

“The cabin was meticulously maintained and the host thought of every little detail- I.e.; were plenty of chargers and even candles ready for us to burn. It was super clean and comfortable- even getting Instacart delivered and food delivery was a breeze. ”

“Could not make from florida nor my daughter and 4 grandkids from Maryland due to 2 catastophic hurricanes but there was zero compassion or compromise from vacasa so we lost $1,500”

“Cool and quirky place. Had a blast sitting at the fire pit making a fire and listening to the river. The house has a sense of bringing the outdoors inside, like “trees” with short branches, in several spots. It’s cool, but might be an issue for young kids or older visitors. The main room TV was a bit of a mystery. A ROKU stick was plugged in but neither (there were 2) Roku remotes worked. Downstairs bedroom tv worked fine. ”

“Beautiful property with amazing views! Communication with the host was great, quick responses and available upon need. Self check-in was very easy & convenient. Strong WiFi, plenty of space for the family, and private peaceful location. Roads to the home are not yet paved, but totally worth the off-pavement adventure. Tons of wildlife and beautiful views! Highly recommend for camp-like experience in a beautiful mountainous home!”
