A little seaside gem in Nazaré! As the name suggests, this charming boutique property is right by the water, and the ocean views are definitely part of the experience. The hotel itself is lovely, and breakfast was a highlight. There's something special about enjoying a delicious breakfast while looking out at the ocean. It made for a wonderful start to the day. One practical tip: dropping off your luggage can be a little tricky because the street is one-way, so you may need to circle around...

Wonderful stay! The staff were always friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of options for everyone. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, also had a beautiful balcony and view of the entrance to the Fatima Sanctuary which is about a 7 minute walk. The bus depot is right next door. Words come short of telling how I truly feel about my experience. I have traveled to many places, stayed at 6 star resorts, but nothing comes close Six Senses-Douro. This property is not only historic but recently updated to freshen it up. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the views cannot be beat. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wine-centered place to stay in Lamego!

Very kind help at the front desk! I was accompanied by a staff member in my rental car to the garage nearby for parking that was included. Very helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. Lots of bakery items, sandwich meats, and fruit offerings. It was a wonderful location, easy to walk to the beach and the promenade/boardwalk where all the bars and restaurants are.

Wonderful stay. Stunning property, fabulous views, food was excellent, boat ride in our the Douro magical. Service could have been better - they were not as attentive as I would have liked to see for a property of this caliber.

This property was very nicely updated. The room was very spacious and comfortable. King bed was very comfortable and bathroom was well equipped. We had breakfast included which was a buffet with a good variety of foods. We stayed for one night off season in mid September and the area was very quiet with lots of places closed for the season. Overall very nice hotel would love to stay again during the summer season.

Super clean. Very friendly staff -ask them anything they will help you. Don’t buy water- you can ask for extra bottles of natural water and they will bring to the room. There will is robes and slippers in the room. There’s a small safe and a mini fridge/bar. Rooms are cleaned daily. Breakfast is excellent - it is worth including in your ticket- better than outside breakfast ( local pastries, honeycomb honey, fresh jams, fruit, bread and pastries - very good.
