We have stayed at Mandalay bay several times over the years. It was actually our favorite resort for decent rates, large rooms and an awesome pool/beach. This time our experience was not up to standards. We arrived early morning, so I figured our room wouldn't be available. But we went to the front desk to check in. The person at the front desk would not check us in and told us too use the app too get on the list for early check in. My daughter in law and I both tried and both of us showed that there was an error and couldn't check in on the app. We got back in line and talked to a different front desk clerk. She also would not check us in, and called over another person with a tablet. This lady got us checked in, but was irritated with her coworkers for not checking us in. We then went to check our luggage until our rooms became available. We were given a ticket and were told to scan the barcode at the bell desk and they would bring our luggage up to the desk. Later when we tried to get our bags that way, a different person scolded us No, No, No. That's not how you do it. He instructed us to go to our room and call from there and the bags would be brought up. Then on our 2nd night, our tub and shower drains backed up. It was around midnight, but luckily we only had to wait for 15 minutes for maintenance to show up and unstop the drains. Customer service has really gone down hill for us.
