“I stayed at 5 different accommodations during my visit to Japan, and Ryokan Plum was by far my favourite - it was a shame that I could only stay for one night! I stayed in the traditional tatami room, which exceeded all of my expectations. It was beautiful! The host (I forget her name) who greeted me upon my arrival was very kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend Ryokan Plum to anyone visiting the Hakone/Odawara area. ”

“Incredibly clean and hygienic place, I’ve stayed there before and loved it! Super close to the ski resort, onsen visit is included, they have storage for your ski/ snowboard equipment as well as free laundry. The showers are amazing as well as the room heaters. I love staying here and I will be returning next year :) might just be an annual trip! They also have a great kitchen setup, along with Beer on draft! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!! 😊”

“ドミトリーで予約しましたが客が少なかったこともあって個室にしていただきました。スタッフ(オーナー？)の対応はとても良かったです。宿は周辺にコンビニ等はないのでちょっと不便を感じました。部屋にはTVがなかったのですがフリーWIFIがあったのでネットで見ることができたのは良かった。お風呂は近くの道の駅で利用できます、これがなかなか良かった。食堂は近くにありますが、車があれば(私は自転車でした)少し遠出をしたほうがいいですね。”

“We stayed here for just one night, and it was a lovely experience. The location is perfect — only a short, easy walk from Kawaguchiko Station. Check-in was smooth and simple, and the host was very thoughtful. There are also many cultural touches and experiences you can enjoy inside the house, which made the stay feel special. “This guesthouse is near the Park of Gifu and the Castle of Gifu. Very convenient. The owner let me wash my clothes in the washing machine for free. ”

“Eviten a toda costa la habitación 3, está justo abajo del bar y todas las noches tienen una actividad donde hacen comida asada al carbón y todo el humo del pescado se filtra hacia la habitación. Sinceramente fue una experiencia demasiado desagradable. No pudimos dormir por el apeste. Lo rescatable fue la ubicación y la amabilidad del personal. Los baños son compartidos y están relativamente limpios aunque algo viejos. No nos volveremos a hospedar ahí ni aunque nos pagaran. ”
