“This was a gem to find. We decided to extend our stay and the staff were very accommodating. The history of the villa is incredible and even more interesting that it is still with the original family. A huge sense of pride and passion is palpable from the current owners. “The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were vety comfortable. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only regret was not being able to stay another night as we were traveling to Assisi the next day. The locat to Lucca was also perfect and tge drive into the walled city was less than two minutes. I can't say enough great things about our hostess and her mom. They we absolutely sweet and wonderful people. The next time, I will use La Chiuso Delle Monache……

“Very comfortable room and warm friendly staff. We only stayed one night prior to flying out of Pisa, but the staff helped us store luggage before check in, recommended lunch, arranged an early airport shuttle, and provided breakfast items we could eat prior to their regular service at 8:30am. Super helpful! The wifi was inadequate in our room, which made online check-in for flights infeasible. We noticed the next morning that their main lobby had a strong signal. Good AC.”
