“After staying in VRBOs around NZ, this was definitely our favorite for charm, view and character. However? We arrived cold and et and the heat was not on. It took a few hits to warm up the hallway. There were lots of blankets so we could sit on the couch and stay warm. My one suggestion would be to have the owner turn on the heat ahead of guests arrivals on cold days. ”

“This home was absolutely beautiful! A perfect mix of historic & modern, it was even better in person. Plenty of space in a convenient location. The parking is a bit tricky but not bad once you get the hang of it. We're traveling with our 3 year old who was super excited to find toys & books to play with & read - honestly a great surprise for all of us! Communication was clear and timely. Being unfamiliar with what is meant in NZ by “backyard sleep-out”, I was not expecting to need to go into the main house for a shower, to have no hot water, or to have no running water in the kitchenette. When it came time for us to leave at the end of our stay, we felt like part of the family because of the shared facilities, and a solution to our error regarding the dates of our stay.”
