Ideal for 4 people, Murphy bed at end of large lounge/kitchen with screening for privacy and second shower/loo. Would……

“West Stow is close to the Kings forest which is great if you have dogs or great if you don’t. The cottage was perfect and wildlife is all around. The horse in the field whilst washing dishes, the munkjac deer crossing the field and all kinds of birds made the trip memorable. A lovely place for a restful stay but with plenty of fun trips on the doorstep.”

“Beautiful accommodation very well equipped and presented. Set in a stunning location. We were very pleased to have selected Lackford Lakes Barns. Will visit again. ”

“The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped ( even a cafetiere ). Finding that there was a sofa bed was good. The approach along the stairs isn't wonderful, a bit drab and unloved but once in the apartment, all is good. There is some street parking right outside the Stratford and we were lucky and bagged a space, otherwise free parking nearby in other streets. ”

Criticisms were minor: a little detritus (possibly dog hair?) on the floor on arrival; a broken toilet roll holder; a bed sheet that was too small for the mattress. “Over all the house is nice but there is several factors that seriously it down.Cleaning - It needs a thorough deep clean. The bbq is filthy, outdoor kitchen area is covered in a layer of dirt. Kitchen cutlery was dirty, glasses the same. Toaster was rotten and the oven grill was dirty. Washing machine stank of mould and even after running it on a hygiene cycle twice it still stank!
