“The cabin was clean and well laid out. Plenty of necessaries if you wanted to cook. Coming in I would’ve appreciated Better signage at the road, but knowing now it is part of a larger property under construction. Still a nice view and the construction did not interfere with my stay. This was a cozy cabin and I would stay there again.”

“This beautiful, peaceful little cabin is a slice of heaven. It is quiet, beside a horse pasture and surrounded by trees. The cabin itself is expertly decorated and is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was one of the most calming and relaxing four days that we have spent in a while. I would definitley return. ”

“Enjoyed ourselves a lot. Clean & had most everything we needed but would have appreciated stairs for hot tub as we weren’t able to use it as it was.”

“House was somewhat decent. Could have been cleaned better. Arrived to a broken bed & one of the bathrooms was out of order the whole trip. Contacted the host & someone was supposed to come out but never did. & Couldn’t get the host to respond anymore after sending our issues to them. Will not be coming back to this house.”

“Five stars for this beautiful and cozy cabin which is just as described. Plenty of space for 7 adults with comfy common areas to socialize and 4 nice bedrooms & bathrooms for privacy. Kitchen was clean and very well stocked. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery from the hot tub and the fire table on the back porch after a long hiking day. “My buddy and I get our families together every few years. We decided to try out Lake Lure this year. The Lake Lure Oasis in the Woods was the perfect place! We had 11 guests to include 4 adults and 7 kids from 3 to 16 years of age. Chris’ place was plenty spacious for us and very clean. Chris was very responsive. Upon arrival, we realized the microwave wasn’t working and Chris had a replacement brought to the house the same day. If you have a large family or friend group this place would be……

“We spent five nights here with our two dogs- it was the perfect spot for both accessing all WNC has to offer, as well as relaxing around the beautiful property! The cool breezes and jaw-dropping views made it tough to leave! We’ll definitely be back!”
