“We found Turkey Trot to be a perfect location for a 3 day stay. It is a comfortable space that gives the feel of being ‘in the country’ but is only minutes away from Black Mountain and Asheville. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch while listening to birds. Highly recommend!”

“Wonderful house - very roomy, clean and well stocked throughout. View is incredible! Location is private but also convenient to hiking, shopping and restaurants. We had fabulous pizza from La Strada in Lake Lure. Melissa was a great host, very responsive. We would definitely stay there again”

“Enjoyed ourselves a lot. Clean & had most everything we needed but would have appreciated stairs for hot tub as we weren’t able to use it as it was.”

“We loved our stay in this perfect treehouse! The accommodations were clean and inviting, with lots of thoughtful touches tucked throughout the property (I won’t give them away here!). The hosts were wonderful, friendly, and made communication a breeze. Location is great, and will only continue to improve as Chimney Rock continues to rebuild from Helene. Speaking of Chimney Rock, the property was perfectly positioned for getting to the park for hiking, and had beautiful views from below. And……

“Cute house. It is about 20-25 minutes from Asheville and about 5 minutes to Black Mountain. House was clean and the communication with Kelsey was prompt, she was super helpful.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is fantastic and so completely authentic and rustic, which is just what we love! We would definitely stay there again. We so loved the sweet birds on the porch - watching them going and coming from their birdhouses! It rained just about the entire time we were there, but that is something we have no control over.”

“House / property was very clean and stocked with many of your basic needs, robes for the hot tub and sauna where a nice touch. Lots of space and activities for folks to comfortably enjoy themselves during the stay. Extremely close to the super market and within 30 minutes of downtown Asheville. The host was quick to respond to questions/concerns, overall a wonderful experience and will look to stay again.”
